Can anyone help with lighting issues?
I have been in the hobby of photos last year and has a light studio set for a Christmas gift in advance. He has three 600 watt lamps with tripods, 1 umbrella, 2 light boxes and funds. One origins is a green screen. I put my camera on a tripod and began testing. I have a Canon T1I. The manual mode with ISO 100, F-stop 5.6 and the shutter is 1 / 25. I use a Sigma 28-70mm 2.8-4 DG lens. I do not know how to make the lights, stage, location and power. My questions are: • Does my camera right setting? • How do I set up the lights? • Are there lenses better than to make a difference? The photos that I took and never looked crisp. And it is so difficult to obtain background illuminated without washing my theme.
Strobe lights or constant, using a gray card of your digital camera is all you need meter, while reading lights your histogram.
