Group 1: Nikkor 18-135mm for about $ 230 Set 2: Nikkor 18-70mm and 70-300mm Nikkor for about $ 275 in September mm 3: Nikkor 18-70mm and Tamron 28-200 for about $ 260
I agree with V, including its proposal for the 55-200 VR instead of entry level 70-300. The 70-300 range is good, but the savings will regret if not for their RV in larger focal lengths. The 18-70 is a high quality lens. The VR 55-200 is not as expensive either – $ 230 B & HPhoto.
