Nikon Lens questions?
1) Is it worth the extra money for a 85mm portrait lens is 50 mm or to work as well? (to both F1.4) 2) I read about the differences and pros and cons surrounding the 18-105 or 24-120. This will be a better "everyday walk around the lens? I heard that you really miss the depth of 6mm if you get a 24-120. 3) Anyone with experience with The Nikon 80-400mm? 4) What other goals (Sigma, Vivitar, etc.) makes the lens worthy of serious consideration? (autofocus and VR important for me) PS I promise you more questions than Nikon for the weekend. Thank you people, I I appreciate the advice I got here NO! 1. If you shoot a DX sensor camera, 50mm lens will be similar to 75mm lens on FX (full frame or film) from the body. In my profession as a photographer, I rely on documents that I have the camera and lens. I am currently using Nikon D80 and the goal I have is Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 EX DG Macro HSM, I am very fond.
I discuss this particular purpose, and why I liked it so much.
