The best option for traveling light tripod with a digital SLR?
Hello, I usually take my Manfrotto tripod In my travels, put it in the bag and my bag and strap holidays. But this time I'll travel pretty light through towns and forests, a backpack. I tried Joby Gorilla pod but I did not like the time it took to implement it all the time. You must have a kind of early release to be useful., All travel tripods good recommendations? Even thought about doing the puff. My biggest goal is a Tamron 18-270, fairly heavy, fairly long. (1.3 lb, 550g) and a small Nikon D60. If the total weight is less than 3 pounds.
The best thing to do is visit your local photo store and try all the different. I tried dozens of combinations before finding the best tripod head and me. You can not always determine how far a tripod / feels just by looking at the images online.
