I have a digital rebel and want to add a glass or two to update my system. Finally, you can switch to a Canon D40, so I want the lens I buy now to be compatible. I have the F3 .5 / 18-55mm that comes with. You want some something faster. Suggestions? I already F3.5 / Tamron 28-300 so maybe a better quality of the focal length of small size?
You should go to the lens L. They are awesome. But they cost Other Lenses for Canon, objectives that are not L. The lenses are Canon lenses L Pro, and are therefore exceptional quality. You can use the lens L with all Canon digital SLR cameras.
