Can I use my lenses from my Canon Rebel (film regular) on a Nikon D70?
I have absolutely no idea about it. Can I wear my lenses film SLR camera digital? I'm moving from a Canon Rebel (same film) for a Nikon D70. Is there something special about the lenses digital camera? Or are interchangeable between film and digital? Tamron lenses that I have. Thank you! I have the Nikon D70 yet. I was hoping to get a first response, before buying the camera. I want to buy only the body, so I know that my glasses fit in advance.
Canon lenses do not fit on a Nikon body. They have a different system for its lens mount. In addition, no adapter to meet Canon lenses for Nikon. The reason is that Canon lenses sit farther from the film or the optical sensor for Nikon. (So when you put a Nikon lens on the Canon body has the necessary spare margin for adjustment ring – but not vice versa.) If your Tamron for Canon over the last 10 years or less and have autofocus, which works like a charm in any digital SLR Canon. If the act of a digital SLR camera Canon just keep in mind that the rebels, 20D and 30D lenses contribute to increase of 1.6. Thus, a 100-200mm zoom actually behave like a 160-320mm lens.
