I wonder if purchased with the objective of kit or the Tamron 18-200mm? I'll just do the basic family Portraits with a landscape and macro shots too … Basically, it is better for all? Lens thank you maybe.
I have a 1000D and my Tamron 18-200. The fact is that this objective has problems and I do not recommend. I aberrations bottom left full zoom. This means he sees halos around objects pink bottom left of each image at full zoom on. More goal seems be seeking care, often do not find it. Therefore, I do not recommend this. My camera performs wonderfully now that I 1000D Tamron 28-200 replaced with a Canon. Thus, the bottom line, I recommend you buy this camera is really good, but get the 18-55 for its first glass. Understanding the 18-55 is a good goal, not great but good. It is the goal that I now use and recommend.
